ChangShu Rosewood furniture history

Ming dynasty, Ships return from overseas used rosewood as ballast. When they arrived, those rosewood were unloaded along the ChangJiang river side.

Ancient carpenters built lots of furniturs by using the rosewood, due to it's special hardness, these furniture remained today along with the antique furniture building skills.
